Important note for you as an affiliate about link and cookie tracking
In order for your recommendations to be correctly assigned and for you to receive your commission, it is crucial that your clients use the affiliate link correctly. Please pay attention to this and communicate it clearly:
1. use an affiliate link: Please make sure that the people you recommend reach our site via your personal affiliate link before booking.
2. same browser and device: To avoid tracking problems, the entire booking process should be completed on the same device and in the same browser.
For example, if you send your affiliate link to someone via WhatsApp on their smartphone and this person clicks on the link, but then uses a laptop (possibly with a different browser) to complete the order, cookie tracking will stop. This is because many devices do not allow cross-tracking or it has been set accordingly.
Affiliate links are therefore more likely to be offered on a website, for example. In this way, it can be reasonably ensured that the person in front of the computer clicks on the link and then makes a purchase or booking on the same device.
3. no subsequent crediting: If the affiliate link is not used correctly or tracking is interrupted, we can no longer credit the affiliate commission retrospectively for technical reasons.
If you are making recommendations, you are welcome to briefly address these points to your prospects or clients to avoid misunderstandings and ensure that your recommendations are recorded correctly.
If we notice that you refer several clients to us over time and this becomes one of your “main activities”, we will be happy to issue you with a voucher code for your prospective clients that is linked to your affiliate ID at Digistore24. Please note, however, that this is only possible in such cases, as we cannot issue a voucher code for each of our now over 1,000 affiliates just because, for example, a single referral has been made.
4. test affiliate link: If you would like to test your own affiliate link, simply click on your link, which will take you to our website. A few more tips for your success!
There are the following ways to earn your first commission:
Facebook groups: Look around in groups on the subject of “Emigrating”, “Digital nomads”, “Financial freedom” or “Location-independent working”, but don’t just spam all possible members. For example, share your experience with us in one of these groups and show that you are happy about your new business abroad or tell us about our great service. If someone contacts you, you can also send them the link to the sales page you created earlier.
Every now and then, someone asks the group how to set up a company abroad. This is your chance! Here you could answer again how satisfied you were with our service. Maybe this person will then ask you for a personal message. Then forward your promo/affiliate link.
Email list: Do you have access to a large email list of digital nomads or generally interested people who would like to work remotely? Then give them a tip and send them your promo/affiliate link.
YouTube: Do you have a YouTube channel that deals with this topic or similar topics? Then create a video about the possibility of setting up a business abroad, which can also lead to tax savings or even complete tax exemption.
